about the event

During this interactive workshop, Mental Performance Consultants Maya Vadell (he/they) and Ujo Wadjet (she/her) will introduce participants to strategies aimed at helping to gain confidence to get started (or take things to the next level) and build the consistency necessary to keep going, no matter where participants are on their wellness journey!

About your instructors:

Maya Vadell (he/they) has a B.A. Psychology from Rutgers University (2020) and is currently on track to graduate in 2024 with a M.A./M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling/Sport and Human Performance from Adler University. Their educational philosophy is that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive and feel in control of their performance.

Ujo Wadjet (she/her) has a B.P.S. in Applied Health Sciences from Robert Morris University (2018), a M.S. in Human Performance from Roosevelt University (2020) and is about to graduate with both a M.A. in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and a M.S. Sport and Human Performance from Adler University (2024).  Through her work she aims to help clients bridge the gaps between the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual in order to optimize all aspects of performance. She can be found online on Twitter or Instragram at @ujowadjet.

As always, masks will be required in the space at all times. All non-members will be asked to show ID and vaccination cards at the door.  Our space is equipped with wheelchair accessible ramps and diffused lighting. We will be limiting capacity indoors as necessary. Quiet spaces available for those who need it. Our restrooms are unfortunately not accessible to mobility devices.
