Scary Strong: Powerlifting Fundraiser

Join Han Training Saturday, October 29 12:00 - 4:00 pm for Scary Strong, a powerlifting meet, costume contest, and fundraiser! All proceeds go towards Project LiftyBoi, a membership and training scholarship through Han Training for TQPOC. Learn more about Project LiftyBoi HERE.

This is a public event for the community. Both Members and non-members are welcome to participate as athletes and attend as spectators! It's time to start planning those hot strong queer costumes! Suggested registration fee for Athletes goes towards Project LiftyBoi but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Spectators are also welcome to participate in costume contest so even if you’re not into lifting, put this one in your calendar!

All non-members will be asked to show ID and vaccination cards at the door. As always masks will be required in the space at all times and guests will be asked to wipe down any equipment used. Our space is equipped with wheelchair accessible ramps and diffused lighting. We will be limiting capacity indoors as necessary as well as utilizing our outdoor space. Quiet spaces available for those who need it. Our restrooms are unfortunately not accessible to mobility devices.
